Happy Valentines Day!

Hi Everyone!

I know that it is a bit late... But here is the extra long post I promised!
There is also going to be a "Songs of the week" post this week at the end of this post because I feel that there should be more than one song to listen to right now!

Here is my weekly update:

I am making a sockhead hat out of the Indigo Moon Island Time Fingering in the color
"Wild Berries" for my mom as a valentines day gift but a school project came up and I needed to finish that before I could do this.  But it is going to be a belated valentines day gift instead, most probably done in a week.

A close up of the remaining yarn with a little artsy touch

A picture of the hat in progress

A close up of the yarn and the color.

A plaster of Paris heart collage that I made on valentines day.

And a few buttons I bought for my parents.

also, the Songs of the week are:

My funny valentine- Chet baker

I'm under the influence of love- Love Unlimited

You Have to listen to these songs!

All the best,

~Nathan

Hello Y'all,

That malabrigo that i got at the three bags full sale is now turning into a cowl that I am designing,
called the diamond of rubble cowl. ( or at least thats what i'm calling it for now...)

Yarn close up!!

Also, a  while back i made a knit picks order and this is what I made with some of the yarn!!
This pattern is called the sockhead hat by Kelly Maclure and i just loved working with this yarn.
Looks weird folded down doesn't it?

Also...

I got the yarn for my moms valentine's day gift but I will be saving that for valentine's day.

Guess What??

Hi Everyone, hope you all had a wonderful New Year!

To all you people living in Kitsilano: Yes that was ME banging the wooden spoon on the frying pan at 12:00 on new years eve/day!!!!

Anyways, as the title says, Guess what? I TURNED 12 TODAY!! WHOOPEE!
for my B-day I will have an extra long post for today:

First of all, I finished blocking my Boneyard shawl, the picture looks bad for both me and the shawl...      yeah, sorry about that...

Last night I had both Aunts and Uncles from my dads side of the family over to my house for dinner, This was just one of the lovely gifts that I recieved, the other being a large ball of Red Heart Comfort that I most probably will turn into a blanket and some baby hats for charity.

Of course, I had to put a picture of Buddy, some random garden gnomes, and a very random flat of beans on the blog, right?

My favourite pictures of the bunch (not including Buddy) is a beautiful picture of some madelinetosh  that I am currently knitting up at the moment into a giant age of Brass and Steam kerchief.

Thank you all for being here,
~Nathan
